What are Unbiblical Churches Interested In?

I have been to 30 different churches over the last two years. Not a single one of them was completely accountable to Scripture, although there was one Baptist church that came pretty close. All of the Unbiblical American Churches are interested in Entertainment/Fame/Ego, Attendance Numbers, Money, Lordship False Salvation by works of discipleship, politics, and the worship of Family, all of which are condemned by clear Scriptures.

  1. We attended a church for awhile that seemed to understand what is occurring within the visible church and I thought that we had found a home until the pastor taught that those who receive water baptism have a special standing before Christ, they have put on Christ. He taught this from Galatians 3:26-29. He was greatly influenced by the early church fathers. I gave him an exhortation against second blessing heresy from H. A. Ironside. He didn’t see his error. It was all very sad. We have yet to find a church that has leadership loyal to Jesus Christ and His Word. God bless you:)

      1. I believe that we are saved to obey Christ and follow Him, but I don’t believe that we have to do anything other than believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ for salvation. The Lord God works in our hearts so that we turn from dead works and are instead zealous for good works. The verses where we are exhorted to be eager for good works also exhorts us that salvation is all of God and none of us, when we put our faith in Jesus Christ.

Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men. For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men. Titus 3:1-8
