Bill Nye The Delusional Science Guy

From a Christian Today article, today:
“Nye argued that it is not possible for life as we know it to have come about in less than 6,000 years, labelling Ham’s views unreasonable and “magical”. He also noted that the US is a “world leader” in the field of technology, and if creationism is promoted “we are not going to move forward”.

Excuse me, Mr. Nye? America has been predominately Christian, about 87%, for the many years that science and technology have advanced in this country. What you have said here is an illogical statement.

–Curtis Smale, Christian who believes that the earth is approximately 6,000 years old, and that it was created by God.

  1. Did you watch the debate? It should be free now on YouTube. It explains many of the questions you have. Even the idea that religion and scientists could exist together but that evidence indicates the Earth has to be much older than 6000 years for things like quantum mechanics, modern biological models, current medicine, etc to function as they do. Stephen Hawking’s A Brief History of Time also is a great read for chronology of the Universe. And he doesn’t he make a claim on am intelligent design or not.

      1. Not sure what to tell you. When I click on the link I posted it brings me right to YouTube and the video. Maybe try copy and pasting the link? Or just do a search on youtube for Bill Nye Ken Ham debate. Should be about 2.5 hours IIRC.
