Will Believers in Jesus’ Gospel Go to Heaven if They Commit Suicide?

If you say that a person, an eternally and irrevocably saved believer, because of their suicide, is not saved, what you are essentially saying is that number one, belief in Jesus does not give eternal life; and two, that Christ did not die for all sins, because He did not die for the sin of suicide.

The biblical truth is that people who believe that Jesus is the God-man, who died for all their sins (all: past present and future), was buried and rose again, according to the Scriptures (1st Corinthians 15: 1-4) (without also relying on their good works to save them), are eternally saved, and will most definitely go to Heaven after they commit suicide.

But suicide is not God’s will for you, and He promises to give hope and help those in despair, so they do not commit this sin.

    1. King David committed murder as a saved believer. The verse you quote refers to an unbelieving murderer. The Bible also says all liars will have their part in the Lake of Fire. Have you ever told a lie? Salvation is not by works.
