What Does It Mean to “Believe in Jesus”?

WHAT BELIEVE MEANS: NO GOOD WORKS OF OURS FOR SALVATION.  To “believe in Jesus” means to believe who He and Scripture said He is, and to believe in what He, out of infinite divine love, did for my eternal salvation: save me from my sins, from my death, and from my Hell—without any good works or help from me of any kind, either before or after the moment of belief in Jesus. Jesus did it all for me, He finished my salvation, through His death for my sins, His burial, and His resurrection. (The Gospel.)

THE CONTENT OF WHAT WE BELIEVE: THE GOSPEL DEFINED. Jesus Christ is both God and man. He shed His holy blood, He died on the cross for the forgiveness of all of my sins—(past, present, and future), He was buried, and He was raised from the dead on the third day, according to the Scriptures. (1st Corinthians 15:1-4)

THE RESULTS OF ETERNALLY SAVING BELIEF: ETERNAL LIFE FOR THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN JESUS. People who believe in Jesus (or who have believed in Jesus in the past), have eternal life immediately, irrevocably, and irreversibly (John 6:47); and they will go to Heaven immediately when they die, to be in the Presence of the Lord forever.
